Join us at Book Culture LIC at 1pm on Sunday, May 12th, for our usual FREE children's storytime hour with a special guest - children's book author Molly Arbuthnott, who will be reading her brand new picture book, Oscar the Ferry Cat!

Oscar is an ordinary cat living in Scotland until one day his life is turned upside down when he finds himself alone on a ferry. Will he ever find a friend and somewhere he can call home?

Oscar the Ferry Cat is based on a true life event - in April 2014 Molly Arbuthnott lost her family cat on a Caledonian MacBrayne ferry. Though Oscar was never seen again his memory is now immortalized in the minds of all the children who read this tale.
