Inside LIC Connects Hotels, Employers & Local Businesses

On Wednesday, June 11, we hosted our first-ever Inside LIC — a special event designed to connect LIC’s hotel community with standout local businesses as part of our Tourism Ready: LIC initiative in partnership with NYC Tourism, the city’s tourism board.

Held at Brewster LIC (27-01 Queens Plaza North), the event featured presentations from 15 neighborhood businesses and drew over 50 participants, including representatives from top hotels, major employers, and residential developments. Catering was provided by Little Chef Little Café, and the event space—a state-of-the-art venue with flexible rooms and breakout areas—showcased one of LIC’s premier options for off-site meetings and gatherings. We’re already seeing collaborations come out of the event and are excited to keep the momentum going.

New York Hall of Science Networking Night Fosters Collaboration Across Queens

That same day, we proudly partnered with the New York Hall of Science, The Rhyland Hotel, Queens Night Market, Edge Auto Rental, Velvet Turtle Events, and the Queens Economic Development Corporation (QEDC) to host a special networking night aimed at fostering collaboration among businesses, institutions, and community organizations across Queens. We were thrilled to see over 40 LIC stakeholders in attendance, engaging in meaningful conversations and building new relationships with partners from all corners of the borough. It was a fantastic opportunity to spotlight LIC’s leadership and deepen connections within the greater Queens community.
