Perhaps there is something you've been dreaming of creating, but you are stuck in stasis mode, uninspired and unmotivated to bring your vision to fruition? Or maybe you simply need an energetic shift and want to try something a little bit silly and unfamiliar! Emily Jeanne Brown and Eve Marie Mugar invite you to CONNECT + CREATE: A Workshop for Accessing Creative Flow through Self and Community. Through an experiential journey of grounding, meditation and yoga practice, breath work and improvisational movement, the facilitators will guide participants toward a deep relationship with their intrinsic creative power. Whether you already consider yourself a creative, or you are simply looking for the tools to build an intentional life, this workshop will help you get into the body and out of the critical mind so that you can access a state of flow with your own unique gifts! What to expect: -a safe space with well-established community guidelines and acknowledgment -guided meditation and yoga sequences -the opportunity to set intentions and check in with yourself and others throughout the workshop -Breath Work -Improvisational Movement/Dance -the opportunity to take creative risks -a little bit of magic and some fun surprises...! About the facilitators: Emily Jeanne Brown is a Brooklyn-based actor, musician and teaching artist. She attended Smith College and received her M.F.A from the American Conservatory Theater.
