About the show
“The Planter and the Plant” is a theatre piece about care, curiosity, and letting go, with clowning, live music & interactive elements. The Planter tends to everything, food, drinks, anything that can be nurtured. One day, a single seed begins to grow. What follows is a journey exploring their evolving relationship: from getting to know the plant, to witnessing its unique growth, and finally, its departure. This is a theatre piece for 2 – 8 year olds and their grown-ups.
The performance runs approximately 30 minutes and it’s free to attend. There will be creative activities before and after the show.

About Eat the Peadies
We are an Astoria-based theatre collective creating joyful, adventurous theater for young audiences. Our work asks big questions through music and physical vocabulary, layered to resonate with audiences of all ages while remaining fun and delightful for the youngest among us. We create shows that are accessible and affordable, with the hope of reaching communities who might not otherwise have access to live theatre.
