Winnie is literally and figuratively stuck in place, using humor and memory to keep her fears at bay in the face of an uncertain future.

Clinging desperately to the ephemeral presence of her husband Willie as memories surface and stories repeat, Winnie tries to maintain a normal life in a strange new world.
