LIC Art & Photo Walk

, ,

Friday, August 1 , 2:38 pm Sunday, November 30 , 2:38 pm

Looking for a fresh way to explore Long Island City? We’ve put together a map of public art along the LIC waterfront featuring dozens of sculptures, murals, and installations—all free to explore.

Estimated Time: 45 minutes to 1.5 hours

Accessibility: The majority of the LIC waterfront is flat and paved, making it accessible for wheelchairs, strollers, and families with young kids.

Don’t Miss:

Skyline views from the Gantry cranes – iconic photo ops of Manhattan
The Moose Spirit – part of Hunter’s Point South Sculpture Garden
The Nautical Discoveries in Malt Drive Park – artifacts discovered during construction, now turned into public art
Tons of green space and benches – ideal for relaxing or taking a break mid-walk

Ready to explore? Grab your camera, start your walk with an iced coffee from Stepping Stone Cafe on Malt Drive – it’s right near the waterfront and a perfect kickoff for your art-filled stroll!
