Hyllus & The Veligers at Culture Lab LIC

All summer long, Culture Lab LIC presents free outdoor shows live in the lot! Hyllus & The Veligers, a nyc based blues & Latin band, are thrilled to be featured as part of this series. Featuring frontman Hyllus on vocals and harmonica, accompanied by a four piece band, The Veligers play some of the very earliest electric blues & R&B music. Their repertoire goes as far back as the 1930s and focuses mainly on the 1950s, in addition to some later songs and some sambas, boleros and other Latin beats besides.
