, ,

Sunday, February 22 , 11:30 am 5:00 pm

Celebrate the Year of the Horse with a puppet show put on by the Chinese Theatre Works: “Hao Bang Ah! Horse,” an original budaixi traditional Chinese glove-puppetry production that features the twelve animals of the Chinese Zodiac. “Hao Bang Ah!” is a common Chinese expression meaning “great!” or “well done!” The performance is about 30 minutes and is followed by a talk with the puppeteers about their handmade puppets. Free with RSVP. RSVP recommended – space is limited. Seating is first come, first served. The Museum also invites families to participate in an optical toy-making workshop. RSVP
