Hallets Cove Free Community Walkup Kayaking
Saturday, August 24th, 2025 | 1pm – 4pm (12pm – Volunteer show up time). Please visit LIC Boathouse’s website to sign up as a volunteer.
LIC Community Boathouse offers free kayaking from Socrates’ beach at Hallet’s Cove (enter at 31-10 Vernon Blvd). Weather permitting. No prior boating experience required, equipment is provided. First come, first served. All ages welcome, minors (under 18 yrs.) must have a parent/guardian present. Please check LIC Community Boathouse Instagram STORIES the morning of each program in the event of cancellation.
