Join LIC Feral Feeders for some fall cat shelter building!
LIC Feral Feeders is back to host their fall cat shelter-building event at the Materials for the Arts warehouse later this month on Thursday, October 23rd from 6:00 — 8:30pm 🤩
Just like last year, this free event is open to individuals of any and all experience levels! We encourage you to join us whether you are a total newbie to shelter-building or a well-seasoned pro.
Attendees will work alongside LIC Feral Feeders team members to build cat shelters in groups. If any participants have colony cats in need of a shelter, they are welcome to take their newly built shelter home. Remaining shelters will be distributed across cat colonies in Queens that the organization feeds and monitors.
Supplies and equipment for shelter-building will be available at the event.
Please bring donations of unopened cat food and unused cat toys/supplies for the cats and kittens being cared for by LIC Feral Feeders!
