The USATF-certified course begins and ends at the corner of 47th Avenue and 29th Street in Long Island City, at the entrance to the LaGuardia Community Greenway, a pedestrian-only block known as LaGuardia Community College Way and home to New York City’s largest street mural. Participants will run to the Long Island City waterfront and back.
The event welcomes participants ages 7 and older. Registration is $28.63 for adults and $13.10 for students and children. Pricing includes processing fees. Early registration is encouraged.
Racers can join a team or create a team on the registration page.
An Activities Plaza adjacent to the Greenway will feature music, raffles, and information tables hosted by local businesses, sponsors, and College departments. Organizations hosting tables include Planned Parenthood of Greater New York, Ridgewood Savings Bank, LiveOnNY, Primerica, and CampusMesh.
Participants will receive a race T-shirt, while supplies last, and an electronic finisher certificate with their photo and race time.
Medals will be awarded to the top three male, female, and nonbinary finishers overall, as well as the top three finishers in each age category. Race results, photos, and finish-line videos will be available online following the event.
