SUMMARY:Herbalism 101: Awaken your Inner Herbalist Through Your Senses
DESCRIPTION:Stop the scroll and start the experience. \nDoes the world of herbalism feel vast\, complicated\, or a little bit overwhelming? With so many books and “must-have” supplements out there\, it’s easy to feel like you don’t know where to start.\nThe truth is\, you already have the most powerful tool for understanding plants: Your own body.\nJoin Kim Gros\, a Clinical Herbalist and Product Maker\, for a 2-hour immersive workshop designed to strip away the complexity. We’re moving past the “information overload” and going back to basics: learning to listen to what a plant is telling you through your five senses. \nThe Journey: Beyond the Textbook\nHerbalism isn’t just about memorizing facts; it’s about building a living relationship with the plants around you. In this session\, we use the 5 Flavors (Sweet\, Sour\, Salty\, Bitter\, and Pungent) as a secret code to understand how herbs actually work in your system. We will go deep on 5 specific herbs\, using sight\, smell\, and taste to identify their “energetics”—the warming\, cooling\, or drying effects they have on your body. \n✨ Your Ticket Includes:\n2-Hour Expert Workshop: Guided sensory exploration and clinical insights.\nLive Herbal Sampling: A “sensory flight” of 5 powerhouse organic and high quality botanicals.\nTake-Home Resources: A curated handout with recipes to start your home apothecary.\nPost-Workshop Drink: One drink of your choice from Greats of Craft.\nCommunity Connection: Time to hang out and chat with fellow plant-curious New Yorkers. \nThe Details\nThis Thursday night workshop at Greats of Craft is perfect for beginners—no science background or garden required. We’ll spend the first 2 hours in a focused sensory journey\, ending with a dedicated Q&A for your personal herbalism questions. Afterward\, stick around! Your ticket includes a drink of your choice to enjoy while you connect with fellow participants and discuss the night’s discoveries.\nSpace is strictly limited to keep the tasting experience intimate. Grab your spot and find your footing on the herbal path. \nMeet Your Host\nKim Gros (Founder of Moonstone & Mulberry) is a NYC-based clinical herbalist\, educator\, and the founder of an organic product line built on the belief that wellness shouldn’t have a luxury price tag. By blending clinical expertise with crystal healing\, Kim helps clients navigate their health goals through a deeply rooted\, earth-centered approach—she is a Taurus\, after all! Once the green witch duties are done for the day\, you’ll find Kim knitting\, cuddling animals\, and leaning into her “part-time silly goose” persona\, because while healing is important\, having fun is vital.
