We are out and about so much more than when they are in school\, so pack heavy! Please wear comfortable clothes and sneakers. Closed toe\, rugged\, water shoes are okay. Featuring works such as Binary Stars\, Blue Giant\, Neutron Capture\, and Habital Planet\, the show reimagines the relationship between materiality and image-making\, dissolving the boundaries between sculpture and painting. \nSchutte’s work defies the weight and solidity traditionally associated with sculpture. In his compositions\, color floats\, form bends effortlessly\, and structure exists in a state of flux. With references that evoke cosmic landscapes\, organic movement\, and dreamlike abstraction\, his visual language creates a space where physicality is no longer fixed\, but instead vibrates with a sense of expansion and transformation. \nFrom the celestial swirls of Cygnus Loop to the rhythmic curves of Moby Dick\, Schutte’s pieces invite the viewer into a realm where pure physical gesture becomes form\, and mass gives way to motion.
