DESCRIPTION:​Inspired by COVERS BY MP3\, this playful\, hands-on workshop invites participants to create a mini CD keychain with a shareable memory playlist\, paired with a self-designed album cover. \n​COVERS BY MP3 is a multimedia community arts project that documents stories from the Korean diaspora through music\, memory\, and recreated album covers featuring participants in place of the original artists. \n​In this workshop\, participants will build a playlist of the music that has shaped their lives and collage an album cover inspired by the memories it evokes. Their design will then be transformed into a mini CD keychain that links to the playlist\, allowing their personal soundtrack to be shared at the tap of a phone. \n​Participants are welcome to bring 1–2 photos to scan and add to their collage. \n​This program is made possible in part with public funds from the Queens Arts Fund\, a re-grant program supported by New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council and administered by New York Foundation for the Arts. \n​It is also made possible through the generous support of the Queens Public Library.

Graham has been the star contestant of a popular gameshow for either 3 or 327 days. At least that’s what they tell him. Led by a series of violently charming hosts\, Graham and the audience compete in EXTREMELY FUN and MYSTERIOUS games. The tasks are invasive\, the stakes seemingly high and the audience increasingly implicated. Part performance art\, part improv-show\, part social experiment\, Gameshow blurs the line between performer and audience-rendering everyone subject to scrutiny by an ever-present\, controlling\, overarching force. \nGameshow is ultimately an exploration of our own capacities for complicity under observation; of our impulses as a group and as individuals; and of our presumed anonymity in theatrical\, social\, and technological space. \nexit strategy’s work pursues a state of primal\, kinetic presence in performers and audience alike-often blurring the line between the two. We challenge the expectation that audience members can ever be passive observers in theatrical space. Our work stands in direct contrast to film\, social media\, and all technologies of surveillance capitalism that encourage people to think of themselves as compliant consumers of art. Open to campers of all levels\, participants will learn the game\, hone their skills\, and make new friends. \nWe provide options for half-day and full-day pickleball fun at three prime locations: Our Times Square Club\, our iconic outdoor venue at Wollman Rink in Central Park and our indoor\, air-conditioned Long Island City club. \nSessions run weekly throughout July and August; sign up for one week or book Junior for multiple sessions!

We love all things cute & cuddly and you will too! \nExperience the ultimate Summer Art Camp with our unbeatable program! Get ready to unleash your creativity as we dive into a world of art like never before. From painting to sculpture\, printmaking to collage\, each day brings new masterpieces waiting to be crafted by your little artists. We will explore and learn about different artists\, create one of a kind art projects\, participate in creative play time\, and spend time outside at the park each day. \nWe celebrate the end of an awesome week with a gallery show for friends and family\, showcasing the incredible talents of our little artists. \nNotes:\n*Late pick up is available Monday – Thursday ONLY. We will reach out closer to your camp date to confirm if you are interested * \n*Something to note for our FOUR year olds…\nWe’ve found that this camp can be challenging for children who have very recently turned four. We will be expected to walk to and from Shady Playground each day. They are also expected to use the bathroom completely independently and survive the day nap free.
