DESCRIPTION:LIC Partnership celebrated its fifth annual Lunar New Year in LIC – the Year of the Fire Horse. Taking place from February 17 to March 3\, the campaign honored Long Island City’s fast-growing Asian and Asian American community with events and promotions throughout the neighborhood\, including LICP’s Neighborhood Lion Dance on Friday\, February 27. \nDuring the two-week program\, local businesses and organizations – including top cultural institutions\, eateries\, and more – hosted 50+ Lunar New Year-themed events and promotions for residents and visitors of all ages.
