You can bring your little one along with you. New mamas are encouraged to bring their babies (birth – pre-crawling) for infant massage\, movement\, and bonding exercises. We also focus on restorative poses to help mamas cope with modified sleep schedules during this exciting and sometimes challenging time. Come join us\, with or without your babe\, and experience the love and acceptance that awaits you. Whether you're a new mom\, expecting a baby\, or a seasoned mama\, we believe that you deserve to be supported through every step of your motherhood journey. \nIf you're planning to bring your little one with you here are a few things to remember to pack:\n1. A blanket: Bring a soft blanket to place down when you're practicing gentle movements. This will provide a comfortable space for your baby to relax.\n2. Snacks: If your baby is bottle-fed or breastfeeding\, make sure to bring a prepared snack for them. We welcome both options to keep your little one nourished during the workshop.\n3. Diapers\, wipes\, and changing mat: It's always a good idea to have these essentials on hand in case of any accidents or diaper changes to ensure your baby stays clean and comfortable.\n4. Will he ever find a friend and somewhere he can call home? \nOscar the Ferry Cat is based on a true life event – in April 2014 Molly Arbuthnott lost her family cat on a Caledonian MacBrayne ferry. Though Oscar was never seen again his memory is now immortalized in the minds of all the children who read this tale. \n\nMolly Arbuthnott is a teacher\, author\, editor\, and academic from Scotland\, UK. She's passionate about the promotion of children’ s literature. With a solid understanding of literature and the ability to read\, she believes you can take on the world. She has completed an M.A. in Art History and an M.Ed in children's literature. She has gone on to write nine award-winning picture books. She uses experiences from life as inspiration for her writing. Agnes Treherne is a Sussex based illustrator who studied fine art at the University of Edinburgh.
