Artists such as Alanna Heiss (MoMA PS1)\, Pat DiLillo (5Points)\, Mark di Suvero (Socrates Sculpture Park)\, and Isamu Noguchi (Noguchi Museum) are widely cited as artistic leaders who paved the way for the artists and institutions that followed. \nRooted: The Artists of Long Island City celebrates not only these revered leaders but also the many other artists who contributed to the community’s creative fabric.
