Learn the fundamental skills and techniques behind the art of bonsai while enjoying a night out with friends! Our teachers will introduce core concepts and guide your experience as you pot\, prune\, and design your very own bonsai tree! Our Guarantee: These tiny trees are so hardy we guarantee you can keep yours alive\, or we’ll replace it.\n\nThis workshop will be hosted at Bohemian Hall & Beer Garden. Many Czechs and Slovaks in the 1800s left Austria-Hungary\, settling in Astoria\, Queens. In 1892\, they formed the Bohemian Citizens’ Benevolent Society to honor the medieval Kingdom of Bohemia (now the Czech Republic). Funds were raised and in 1910 two lots were purchased for a haven to maintain traditions of the homeland. On Oct. 1\, 1910\, Bohemian Hall’s cornerstone was laid. Three parts were built: an entrance\, Sokol Gym (Main Hall)\, and outside Bar/Park.
