Formerly known as JACX&CO, METTRA is entering a new chapter under new management, bringing a refreshed identity, nearly a dozen dining concepts, and a renewed focus on food, entertainment, and community to Long Island City.
A Two-Day Grand Opening Celebration
To introduce its new identity, METTRA will host a flight-themed Grand Opening celebration on October 29–30, 2026, featuring DJs, live performances, raffles, food, cocktails, and airline-inspired festivities, complete with staff dressed as flight attendants and captains.
Thursday, October 29 | 12:00 PM–4:00 PM
The Grand Opening Preview will feature an official ribbon-cutting ceremony, DJ entertainment, dance performances, and an opportunity for guests to explore the food hall.
Friday, October 30 | 7:00 PM–12:00 AM
The main Grand Opening Party will feature DJs, live performances, food, cocktails, prize raffles, and special Halloween surprises.
