Thursday, October 29, 7-9pm
Join Miggy Augmented Orchestra, led by Japanese-born, Queens-based composer Migiwa “Miggy” Miyajima, for a FREE concert that will leave you smiling! “Tomodachi” means “friends” in Japanese—and this evening is all about bringing people together through music.
After the performance, you’ll have a chance to ask the musicians questions during an audience Q&A.
Curious about the music, their instruments, or life as a musician? Come ask! Then stick around to mingle with the band and fellow concertgoers, with drinks available for purchase at the cash bar.
6:30 PM — Doors open
7:00 — Concert
7:50 — Audience Q&A with the musicians
8:20— Mixer
Admission is FREE. Optional tips are welcome, and CDs will be available for purchase.
This event is made possible in part with public funds from the Queens Arts Fund, a re-grant program supported by New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council and administered by New York Foundation for the Arts.
