Restorative Sound Bath for Colombia Earthquake Relief Efforts

Sunday, November 29 , 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Sound Bath — Restorative Evening Journey

Monthly, on the last Sunday of the month.

A full-body listening practice using singing bowls, flutes, indigenous instruments, shruti box, and more — layered live to guide your nervous system from “on” to deeply “off.”

For our first monthly Sound Bath we are dedicating the session to Colombia and all who were affected by the earthquake. It’s donation-based, with all proceeds going toward earthquake relief efforts in Colombia.

What happened?

On August 10th, a massive 7.4-magnitude earthquake struck western Colombia, centered near San José del Palmar in the Chocó region. It’s the strongest earthquake to hit the country in decades. Hundreds of people have died, thousands more have been injured, and tens of thousands of homes have been damaged or destroyed. Entire communities — many already among Colombia’s most under-resourced — are now without stable shelter, clean water, or access to basic health care. Rescue and relief efforts are still ongoing.

What You’ll Experience

You’ll lie down, get comfortable, and let the sound do the work. No movement, no effort — just resonance washing over you in waves. The vibrations from crystal and metal singing bowls, breathy overtones from wooden and bamboo flutes, the steady drone of the shruti box, and instruments drawn from indigenous healing traditions work together to slow your brainwaves, calm your nervous system, and release tension stored deep in the body.

Sound bath is one of the most accessible forms of meditation — you don’t need to “clear your mind,” you just need to lie down and receive.

Many people report:
– Deep physical and mental relaxation
– Reduced stress, anxiety, and racing thoughts
– Better sleep in the days following
– Release of tension held in the body
– A reset for the nervous system after a demanding stretch of life

Bring a mat, blanket, and anything that helps you get cozy.
