Our Lunar New Year Comic Con is back, this time at the Museum of the Moving Image ( 36-01 35th Ave, Queens, NY 11106 )!
We are excited to trot out our local Queens artists with some special guests from other parts of the city in celebration of the year of the horse!. There will be books, prints, posters, stickers, t-shirts, and original art available, and some mutual aid thrown in!
Get autographs from creators such as Alex Segura (Star Wars, Dick Tracy) , Ethan Sachs (Predator Badlands, Star Wars Bounty Hunters), Danny Lore (Bloodline, James Bond) & Jay Edidin (Jay and Miles X-Plain the X-men) who will be attending on behalf of Comix Action, who will be offering whistles, zines and literature regarding your rights.
Come celebrate with the 3 valuable things that will hep us that will be important this year; art, diversity, and community!
Attendance is free, and there will be kid-friendly products available.
This will all be at the ground floor of the museum at the Digital Learning Center.
Bonus there will be a puppet show, as well! This is part of MoMI’s free Open Worlds program, RSVP is required.
