LaGuardia Community College is hosting its annual Community 5K Run on Sunday, October 19, 2025. We are inviting community organizations and local businesses to participate either as a sponsor or by tabling.
This year LaGuardia Community Run aims to support Finca La Florecita, LaGuardia’s urban farm. La Finca cultivates the next generation of Urban STEM agricultural leaders by offering educational and career pathways in agriculture, soil science, food justice, and urban ecosystem enhancement, while also addressing food insecurity by providing fresh, nutrient-dense produce to the college’s food pantry.
