Museum of the Moving Image will commemorate Jim Henson’s birthday (September 24, 1936) with a weekend of activities featuring special guests, a book signing, puppet workshops, collectible swap meet, live music in the courtyard, and more—many of which are free as part of MoMI’s Open Worlds initiative. This year is particularly special as it’s also the 70th anniversary of Jim Henson’s first show, “Sam and Friends!”
For the complete experience, be sure to visit the Museum’s “Jim Henson Exhibition,” where you can come face-to-face with more than 50 puppets, perform your own puppet, and more!
