This year, the LIC Partnership championed our neighborhood residents and visitors to #shopsmall and to help build a stronger neighborhood. Over the past six years, Small Business Saturday (which takes place annually on the Saturday after Thanksgiving) has grown into a national movement that motivates millions each year to “Shop Small” in local neighborhoods. This year, we celebrated Small Business Saturday on November 26.

LICP distributed 1,000+ shopping guides with 40+ businesses participating, and more than 25 specials and promotions. We also gave out free tote bags, balloons, and other fun items at our Welcome Stations below:

Court Square LICP Kiosk/ Rafferty Triangle (across from the Court Sq station and Food Cellar)
Queens Plaza LICP Kiosk (Queens Plaza North and 27th Street)
Brickhouse Ceramic Art Center (10-34 44th Drive)
